The SPEAK YOUR MIND! youth PSA video contest looks to empower youth to learn the real facts about impaired driving and provide a platform for their stories and reasons for choosing not to drink and drive. Grand prize winners will have their impaired driving message distributed to television and radio stations across Canada as part of the Change the Conversation program.

Canadian youth aged 15-25 are asked to submit a short PSA video (15- or 30-seconds) based on Change the Conversation's PSA/posters and web content. The deadline for entries has been extended and entries will be accepted until September 30th, 2011.

Entrants' videos will be posted for voting on Change the Conversation's YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/Changetheconvo). Viewers can vote for their favourite submissions for the Viewers' Choice Award.

Videos will be judged on accuracy of information, use of positive messaging, and artistic merit. Grand prize winners in each category will also receive a Young Drivers of Canada novice driver training program. Additional prizes are provided by Canadian Tire and Huawei Technologies.

Visit www.videocontest.changetheconversation.ca for full contest details.

Winners will be announced on the National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims on November 23rd, 2011.
