For Testing of the DesEL System in Queensland Australia
GUELPH, ON, March 8 /CNW/ - ENPAR Technologies (ENP.V) is pleased to
announce that the Center for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) of
South Africa has ordered high-efficiency electrochemical cells for on site
testing of the DesEL system at a municipality in the State of Queensland,
Dr Gene Shelp, President and CEO for ENPAR stated, "We are very
encouraged about the business opportunities in Australia. Successful testing
at the proposed municipality could lead to a significant contract for a larger
scale DesEL unit at this location and would act as a showcase for other
parties who have shown interest in purchasing the DesEL technology. An
aggressive marketing campaign in Australia and other countries with similar
requirements is planned."
The high water recovery efficiency of ENPAR's leading-edge DesEL System,
coupled with its ability to target certain contaminants while removing a
desired percentage of total dissolved ions, sets this system apart from
conventional water treatment systems.
ENPAR is a "Water Technology Company" applying its patented and
proprietary "Electrochemical Technologies" to the treatment waste water and
drinking water contaminated by metals or nutrients i.e., nitrate/ammonia
associated with the mining, metal processing, chemical, agricultural,
municipal and waste management sectors.
