Soccer audience record set by The Score



    -- First BPL game of the season gives The Score Television Network its
    best soccer audience ever --

    TORONTO, Aug. 15 /CNW/ - Score Media Inc. (TSX: SCR) announced today that
its subsidiary, The Score Television Network, achieved its highest soccer
audience with its first broadcast of Barclays Premier League (BPL) soccer of
the 2007/08 season on Sunday, August 12th. The broadcast, a match between
Manchester United and Reading, drew an average of 87,000 viewers, breaking The
Score's previous soccer high of 85,000 for an Asia Trophy Soccer game in July
2007.
    "It's great to have BPL soccer back on The Score," said David Errington,
The Score's SVP and General Manager. "The Score is the place to be for the
hardcore soccer fan on Sundays, whether they catch the match on television or
look for the latest highlights on thescore.ca and Score Mobile Video."
    In addition, The Score's website (www.thescore.ca) achieved gains in
traffic on the same Sunday with daily page views up 114% over the previous
year. Fans flocked to the site to get the latest BPL scores, video highlights,
and up-to-the-minute blog updates, with site visits up 65% vs. the same time
last year.
    The Score's BPL matches are broadcast in high definition on The Score HD
which is available on Cogeco and Rogers Digital Cable. BPL coverage continues
