Sino-Forest Announces Resignation of Director

TORONTO, Nov. 4, 2011 /CNW/ - Sino-Forest Corporation (the "Company") (TSX: TRE) today announced James Bowland has resigned as a director.  Mr. Bowland joined the Board in February, 2011 and was a member of the Independent Committee, the Audit Committee and the Compensation and Nominating Committee.  The Company would like to thank Mr. Bowland for his contributions to the Company.
