Siemens Canada Limited announced the appointment of Roland Aurich as
President and Chief Executive Officer. In his new capacity, Mr. Aurich
will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategic direction and
management of all Siemens activities in Canada.
MISSISSAUGA, ON, May 1 /CNW/ - Mr. Aurich brings over 20 years of
experience with Siemens to his new role in Canada. He joined Siemens in 1986
and has held various senior positions within the global organization. Most
recently, he was the President and CEO of Siemens AB in Sweden. Prior to that,
he was responsible for sales of the Transportation Systems, Power Generation
and Power Transmission & Distribution groups at Siemens in Sweden. He has a
strong background in industry and energy business sectors as well as the
