MONTREAL, Aug. 29 /CNW Telbec/ - The Orchestre symphonique de Montréal is pleased to announce that it will give a free concert on Saturday, September 6, at 7:30 p.m., in front of the Montréal-Nord town hall. The event will be hosted by actor André Robitaille and feature a number of guest performers. Attendees will enjoy selections from Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, one of the best-known and most beloved works in the entire repertoire, and the enthusiasm-inspiring overture to Rossini's Guillaume Tell. Residents are invited to be a part of this event, which will take place in front of the Montréal-Nord borough hall at 4243 Charleroi Street. The locale is accessible from Pie-IX, Sauvé or Henri-Bourassa metro stations, and via bus routes running to and from these stations. A park-and-ride will be available at Calixa-Lavallée high school at 4444 Henri-Bourassa Boulevard East, between Pelletier and Balzac streets. The Orchestre symphonique de Montréal is presented by Hydro-Québec.
