Second edition of the Self-Directed Investor Show

    A unique event in Quebec for independent investors featuring renowned
    exhibitors and speakers

    MONTREAL, Nov. 19 /CNW Telbec/ - On December 1 and 2, 2007, the Palais
des congrès de Montréal will host the second edition of the Self-Directed
Investor Show, a unique event in Quebec for independent investors and those
who aspire to become one. The show will bring together nearly fifty renowned
exhibitors and experts from the financial sector who will inform visitors
about key aspects and strategies of investing in the stock market.
    Exhibitors will include the Montréal Exchange, TSX Group, DayTrader
Canada, Morningstar, Décision-Plus, Recognia and Disnat Online Brokerage.
Among the topics covered by the exhibitors will be investor education, tax
issues, electronic trading tools, financial planning, and market regulation.
There will also be a special section featuring various organizations and
companies from the natural resources and precious metals sector.

drew more than 3,000 visitors, the second edition will bring together under
one roof nearly fifty reputable exhibitors and experts from different sectors
of the investment industry, including the stock exchange, online brokerage,

    With two amphitheatres and more conferences, this second edition promises

    Renowned speakers

    Guest speakers will include Camille Beaudoin of the Autorité des marchés
financiers (Manager, Education Programs and Industry Monitoring), Steve
Deschesnes of Disnat Online Brokerage, Sandy McIntyre of Sentry Select (Senior
Vice-President and Senior Portfolio Manager), Guy Leblanc of Cote 100
(Chairman of the Board and Senior Manager) and David O'Leary of Morningstar
(Manager of Fund Analysis). Among the topics covered will be stock selection,
technical analysis, strategic portfolio management, and investor services.
    The Self-Directed Investor Show will be open to visitors on December 1
and 2, 2007, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Palais des congrès de Montréal
