LAVAL, QC, Sept. 11 /CNW Telbec/ - 20-20 Technologies Inc. (TSX: TWT),
the world leader in 3D interior design and furniture manufacturing software,
announced today it has signed an agreement with Sears Holdings Management
Corporation, the leading appliance and fourth largest broadline retailer in
North America, to provide all its Sears Home Improvement Products' Project
Consultants with licenses of its flagship kitchen and bath design software,
This deployment of new licenses will complement Sears' current use of
20- 20 Technologies' Virtual Planner tool on its Sears.com website, where
online visitors and prospective customers can visualize kitchen and laundry
room scenes virtually, adding appliances of their choice from the selected
models Sears stores carry. Customers can then save their scenes and take their
selections in-store where design professionals will help them complete their
design and purchase.
"Sears required a tool to help simplify the sales process while giving
its customers a clearer picture of what their design and renovation projects
would look like once completed. 20-20 Design's photo-realistic 3D renderings
addresses Sears' desire to provide quality customer service through
visualization, optioning and pricing capabilities that will enhance our
customers' experience," said Jim Brown, Division VP, Field Operations GM,
Sears Home Improvement Products, Inc.
"20-20 is very pleased that Sears is now part of the impressive and
growing list of leading retailers in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific
using the industry standard 20-20 Design software at their points-of-sale. At
a time when our industry is facing some economic adversity, sales tools such
as 20-20 Design become essential to improve efficiency and save on costs,"
said Jean-Francois Gou, President and COO of 20-20 Technologies. "Our
exclusive end-to-end solution uniquely positions us to meet the needs of large
