Proposed offering includes Advisor Series
TORONTO, Nov. 1 /CNW/ - Saxon Financial Inc. (TSX: SFI) announced that a
preliminary simplified prospectus for three new funds has been filed with all
of the securities regulators across Canada: Saxon Microcap Fund, Saxon U.S.
Small Cap Fund, and Saxon Global Small Cap Fund. Saxon plans to make the funds
available in Advisor Series, Investor Series, B-Series (institutional), and
F-Series. The funds will be managed according to the same value investment
style has been applied in the 22-year Saxon Small Cap fund.
The funds aim to achieve significant long-term growth by investing
primarily in well-diversified portfolios of companies with below-average
market capitalization. Each fund is expected to be a fully qualified
investment for registered plans.
