Saxon Financial announces dividend increase 28% increase year over year

    TORONTO, Aug. 9 /CNW/ - Saxon Financial Inc. (TSX:SFI) announced today
that its Board of Directors has approved a quarterly dividend of $0.23 per
common share, an increase of $0.02 or 9.5% from the previous rate of $0.21 per
common share. The dividend is payable on August 28, 2007 to shareholders of
record on August 20, 2007.
    This is the third increase in the quarterly dividend since Saxon became a
public company two years ago. On an annualized basis, the dividend has
increased 28% to $0.92 per share compared to $0.72 a year ago.
