SAS Canada appoints Mario Ianniciello as Vice President of Sales

    Former eastern regional sales director to build upon SAS Canada's growth
    in business analytics market

    TORONTO, Aug. 19 /CNW/ - SAS, the leader in business analytics, announced
today that Carl Farrell, Executive Vice President, Americas, has appointed
Mario Ianniciello to the position of Vice President of Sales for SAS Canada.
    Ianniciello joined SAS Canada in 2004 as Eastern Regional Sales Director.
In his new role he will be responsible for leading the national sales team in
addressing client business issues and aligning them with SAS(R) Business
Analytics solutions, which optimize an organization's processes and provide a
measurable return on investment.
    "During his time at SAS Canada, Mario has provided strong leadership for
the Eastern Region which has resulted in significant growth, especially in our
Federal Government business," said Farrell. "With his customer-focused

    Prior to joining SAS, Ianniciello held executive sales management roles
at Computer Associates, Legato Systems and EMC. Ianniciello began his career
in information technology with Loto Quebec and Metro Inc. He is a graduate of
Dawson College and Herzing Institute.
