VANCOUVER, Aug. 27 /CNW/ - Samba Gold (TSX-V:SAO) ("The Company") is
pleased to provide an exploration update on the Huber Hills Uranium Project.
Effective July 26, 2007 the TSX Venture Exchange accepted for filing the
Huber Hills Acquisition Agreement. An exploration crew has completed a
magnetometer program at the Huber Hills Uranium Project, located near Mountain
City, Nevada. A total of 10 line kilometers have been completed and the data
is being interpreted by Gradient Geology and Geophysics of Missoula, Montana.
Pending interpretation, the Company plans to begin an extensive surface sample
program of the anomalous areas. Between 200 and 300 samples will be collected
from existing historical workings and other selected areas. The uranium target
at Huber Hills is a contact zone between a Cretaceous quartz monzonite stock
and the overlying volcanic rocks. The project is being managed by Mr. P.
Pelke, Registered Geologist. Mr. Pelke has ten years experience in the
exploration of uranium, including project experience in New Mexico and Utah.
Neuquen Project, Chile - The Company wishes to report that exploration
efforts at the Neuquen Project near Iquique, Region 1, Chile have been
terminated and the project acquisition discontinued. Review work indicated
that the project did not meet the size necessary for acquisitions by the
