VANCOUVER, March 26 /CNW/ - Rutter Inc. (TSX: RUT) is pleased to announce
that Rutter Hinz Inc., its controls and automation division, has been awarded
a $1.6 million contract by Peter Kiewit Sons to supply electrical engineering
services as well as protection and control systems technology for the Harrison
Hydro LP Power Project, a run of river, clean power project, located at
Harrison Lake in British Columbia, Canada.
The project will consist of 6 remote powerhouses connected to a central
interconnection substation which will allow the 138kV project feed to connect
to the existing BC Hydro 360 kV transmission line. Rutter Hinz will be
responsible for the complete design of the main interconnect substation and
design/supply of the control/protection system, as well as providing
electrical engineering coordination with Peter Kiewit Sons, British Columbia
Transmission Corp, and all third party electrical engineers.

Commissioning of the 138kV to 360 kV substation is scheduled for the spring of
