SCOTTSDALE, AZ, August 16 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors of RSC Holdings
Inc. (NYSE: RRR) announced it has elected Donald C. Roof as an independent
director and member of its audit committee, effective immediately. The
appointment of Mr. Roof expands the board to 12 members.
Mr. Roof, 55, recently retired as executive vice president and chief
financial officer of Joy Global, a worldwide manufacturer of mining equipment.
Prior to joining Joy, Mr. Roof was president and chief executive officer of
Heafner Tire Group, where he had also served as chief financial officer. He
currently serves as a director and audit committee chairperson of Accuride
Additionally, on May 18, 2007, the Board of RSC elected Mr. James H.
Ozanne, 64, as an independent director and chairperson of its audit committee.
Mr. Ozanne has had a distinguished career as a senior executive with
General Electric Capital Corporation and US WEST Capital Corporation and is
currently a principal of Greenrange Partners, a venture capital investment
company. He also serves as a director of Distributed Energy Systems, Inc. and
of Financial Security Assurance Holdings Ltd.
