TORONTO, March 26 /CNW/ - (RMD: TSXV) Richmond Minerals is please to
provide an update on its 100% owned Triple Lake Exploration Project, located
30 km south of Timmins, Ontario.
The total project area has been increased from 1344 acres to 2055 acres.
In-fill staking was recently completed to cover prospective stratigraphy
between Richmond's Triple Lake Gold property claim block and its CF-2 claim
block. The Triple Lake Gold property is host to a vein on which a 55-foot
shaft was sunk and 155 tons of ore were shipped in 1932. Grab sampling of this
vein in 2007 returned gold values of 41.38 g/t, 12.62 g/t and 3.91 g/t.
Historical sampling on veins in the southern portion of the Triple Lake Gold
property claim block returned gold values up to 2.0 ounces/ton. The CF-2 claim
block covers a recently identified airborne electromagnetic (EM) cluster and
follow-up ground geophysical anomalies. A sample from an outcrop near the
cluster taken during the recent ground geophysical surveying returned 6,052
parts per million (0.6 %) copper and 191 parts per billion gold.
Additionally, the CF-1 claim block was increased in area from 356 acres
to 593 acres. The CF-1 claim block also covers a recently identified airborne
Richmond Minerals' Triple Lake Project diamond drill program is on going.
