TORONTO, Aug. 9 /CNW/ - On Friday, August 10, The Hospital for Sick
Children (SickKids) will introduce Team SickKids, an official hospital team of
heart transplant patients who will be travelling to Bangkok, Thailand, at the
end of August to participate in the 16th World Transplant Games. Team SickKids
is comprised of 17 SickKids heart transplant patients from across Canada who
have received one or more heart transplants. Hospital staff and parents of
patients will be accompanying the group, who are the first and only Canadian
hospital team to attend the World Transplant Games.
