Red Bull Air Race Windsor video b-roll available via satellite

TORONTO, June 13 /CNW/ - The Red Bull Air Race World Championship touched
down in Windsor, Ontario TODAY for the qualifying round where Pete McLeod -
the youngest and first-ever Canadian pilot to compete in the Championship -
experienced his best performance to date landing himself a spot in the top 10.
TOMORROW (Sunday, June 14) the top 12 pilots will battle it out for the
championship title by maneuvering through a challenging race course in the
sky. In this spectacular aerobatic motorsport, lightweight aircrafts navigate
just feet above the water through a low-level aerial track around air-filled
pylons, racing at speeds reaching 370 km/h (230 mph) while withstanding forces
of up to 12G.
In 2008, Red Bull Air Race straddled two countries with Windsor, Canada
and Detroit, U.S.A. simultaneously playing host. This year is the first time a
Canadian city is solely hosting the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, as
Windsor marks the third stop in the six-city series in 2009.
