LONDON, ON, May 6 /CNW/ - On Tuesday the 5th of May, 2009, as a result of
a joint investigation involving the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP),
Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and Passport Canada the London Detachment
of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Federal Enforcement Section charged a
U.S. Citizen with Personation and making a false Statement in relation to a
On the 17th of April, 2009, Marion Donald STANLEY was arrested by Canada
Border Services Agency Immigration Enforcement and charged with offences under
the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. He is currently in custody
awaiting court proceedings.
The RCMP conducted a further investigation that resulted in additional
charges under the Criminal Code against Marion Donald STANLEY. The RCMP is
alleging that Marion Donald STANLEY, a U.S. Citizen obtained two Canadian
Birth Certificates through fraudulent documents and had been living in Canada
for more than thirty-five years under the aliases Dallas STANLEY and Sean
Miles STUART. The RCMP is alleging that STANLEY personated Dallas STANLEY with
the intent to obtain a Canadian Passport and for making a false written
statement for the purpose of procuring a Canadian Passport.
Marion Donald STANLEY's next court appearance is scheduled in London on
May 6th, 2009.
