Raydan Manufacturing Inc operational changes

EDMONTON, Oct. 17 /CNW/ - Raydan Manufacturing Inc (the Company)
(TSXV:RDN) reported today that the Company moved into a new location in Baden,
northwest of Kitchener, and is expected to be in full production by the end of
fiscal 2009. This ten-bay facility will expand the Company's capacity for twin
steer work and chassis modifications for the vocational truck market, as well
as shorten wait and delivery times for customers in the eastern and central
markets. The added convenience of servicing OEMs and end users in their own
backyard will provide opportunities for the Company to maximize the potential
of its engineering team.
Additionally, following a full management review of operations, the
Company has closed its Alberta parts and service center effective October 1,
2008. The poor performance of this non-core business unit was a major
contributor to recent operating losses. Proceeds from the sales of the Company
owned property and inventory will be used for ongoing operations.
"The convenience for our customers is now secure no matter where they are
located," observed Ray English, President and CEO. "Focusing on our core
values in product development, manufacturing, chassis modifications and
military applications in both Alberta and Ontario allows us to maximize our
resources to deliver our products to our customers in a timely and cost
effective manner."
