Ramtelecom Inc. Announces Changes to Board and Management


    OTTAWA, June 29 /CNW/ - Ramtelecom Inc. (TSX Venture: RTC) today
announced that Bob Ardiel, Chief Financial Officer, will retire effective
June 30, 2007. Concurrent with his retirement, Mr. Ardiel has accepted a
Director's position on the Corporation's Board. Ralph Misener, CEO of
Ramtelecom commented: "We have appreciated Bob's efforts over the past year as
the Corporation made the transition to a public company operation and offer
him the best of wishes in his retirement. We are especially pleased he has
accepted a Director's position in order for the Corporation to continue to
utilize his experience."
    The Board further announces the appointment of Ray Charron, CMA, to the
position of VP Finance, Chief Financial Officer. Ray holds a Bachelor of
Commerce "Honours" degree with specialization in accounting from the
University of Ottawa. He has spent two years as Controller with the operating
subsidiary, Misener Telecom, and was the leading candidate for the CFO
position. Since joining Misener Telecom in July 2005, Ray has been responsible
for all financial aspects of the company, working very closely with Bob
Ardiel. Formerly, Ray was the Director of Finance for the Phoenix Commercial
Group of Companies where he provided financial and business analysis for
potential Phoenix acquisitions and ventures within the Ottawa housing
industry. Ray Charron's appointment to CFO is the logical choice having proven
his capabilities over the past two years" stated Ralph Misener. "We are
excited to welcome Ray to the Executive Team."
