GATINEAU, QC, Nov. 29 /CNW Telbec/ - Members of the media are cordially
invited to attend the official opening of Boulevard des Allumettières in
The Honourable Lawrence Cannon, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and
Communities; Ms. Julie Boulet, Quebec Minister of Transport; Mr. Benoît
Pelletier, Minister responsible for the Outaouais region and MNA for Chapleau;
Mr. Roch Cholette, MNA for Hull; Ms. Charlotte L'Ecuyer, MNA for Pontiac, and
Mr. Marc Bureau, Mayor of Gatineau, will be present to mark the completion of
work and the opening of the road to traffic.
A press conference will be held in the auditorium of the Lucien-Brault
building at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. After the press conference,
representatives of the governments of Canada and Quebec will proceed to the
official opening, at the end of the bridge on Lac-des-Fées Drive near the
Labelle Street traffic circle.
Transportation will be provided to the bridge and back to the university.
