    VANCOUVER, Aug. 28 /CNW/ - Join us this Sunday to witness history in the
making as Vancouverites take to the streets for the Nike+ Human Race 10K; the
first race of its kind that unites runners from around the world. On
August 31, Vancouverites will participate in the only Canadian leg of the
worldwide event taking place in 25 cities including London, Los Angeles and
    Watch Canadian Olympians Simon Whitfield, Perdita Felicien, Gary Reed and
others as they cheer from the sidelines and encourage participants to the
finish line. By participating in the Nike+ Human Race, participants will not
only achieve personal success, but they will also make a difference for one of
three charitable benefactors (WWF, The Lance Armstrong Foundation and
    Following the run, Nike+ Human Race participants will be treated to a
live concert by Canadian rockers Theory of a Deadman and the Trews - topping
off a day that celebrates the ultimate in human potential.
