    Keeping the pace despite the crisis

    MONTREAL, May 21 /CNW Telbec/ - Mr. Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of
the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, is pleased to invite media
representatives to a seminar "Major projects in Montréal: Keeping up the pace
despite the crisis", on Friday, May 22, 2009, at 7 a.m.
    Montréal is a hot-bed of projects, each more ambitious than the last, and
investment in infrastructure is constantly increasing. But in light of our
current economic situation, can we really keep our current major projects on
course? Several decision-makers and managers from various sectors related to
urban and real estate will be in attendance to report on the situation
concerning the implementation and advancement of major projects in the
Montréal metropolitan region.
    The Honourable Christian Paradis, Canada's Minister of Public Works and
Government Services, Mr. Raymond Bachand, Québec's Minister of Finance and
Minister of Economic Development, Innovation and Export Trade, and Mr. Gérard
Tremblay, Mayor of Montréal, will also be called on to speak.
