    Canadian Urban Transit Association Releases Report on Transit for the
    Next Generation

    OTTAWA, Sept. 3 /CNW/ - The Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA)
will be releasing a report on the future of transit in Canada entitled Transit
Vision 2040.
    Two news conferences will be held in the National Capital Region today.

    Times and Places:

    10:00 am       Parc Jacques Cartier Park, Gatineau, Québec
                   (in the park near St. Etienne Street and De Verdun Street)
                   Speakers will be outside and be available for a photo op
                   with hybrid transit buses and Parliament Hill in the
                   background. At the conclusion of this event at 10:30 am,
                   all speakers will board buses to Parliament Hill where the
                   press conference will be repeated.
                   Media are welcome to join the group on the buses to
                   Parliament Hill.

    11:00 am       Charles Lynch Press Room, Centre Block, Parliament Hill,
                   Access to the Charles Lynch Press Room is limited to
                   accredited media.
