TORONTO, June 18 /CNW/ - Jim Caruk, host of HGTV's Real Renos, is used to
doing renovations, but this Saturday, June 20th he will help build a better
future for Canadians losing their sight to eye disease. Jim will ride with
hundreds of motorcyclists in the 31st annual Ride for Sight in support of the
Foundation Fighting Blindness, Canada's leading private charity, funding
The Ride for Sight motorcycle parade will travel 113 km from Toronto to
Collingwood for a weekend festival, including a concert by legendary rocker,
Kim Mitchell on Saturday night, Bike Games, Show n' Shine, Motorcycle Demo
Rides, and Vendor Marketplace. Since it began over 30 years ago in Central
Ontario, it has raised more than $17 million. The money will benefit the
nearly one million people losing their sight due to degenerative eye diseases.
