TORONTO, May 7 /CNW/ - Ontario Nurses' Association (ONA) President Linda
Haslam-Stroud, RN will be in Hamilton today to attend a Nursing Week luncheon
for Local 75 members.
Haslam-Stroud will speak to the front-line registered nurses and allied
health professionals from St. Joseph's Health Care today at noon.
"The nurses of Hamilton have had a particularly difficult time, facing
multiple nursing cuts and concerns about the future of patient care," notes
Haslam-Stroud. "But for Nursing Week, the spotlight will be on the valuable
contributions that RNs make to the health-care system and the patients who
need the expertise of RNs on the front lines."
Haslam-Stroud will speak to Nursing Week luncheon attendees at the
Courtyard Marriott Hotel at noon.
