    MONTREAL, Feb. 4 /CNW Telbec/ - Victor Francoeur, President & CEO of the
Hotel and Restaurants Suppliers Association Inc. (HRSA), is issuing a call to
all news media to attend the official opening of the 2009 Salon Rendez-vous
HRI. The opening ceremony for the event, themed "A World of Resources", will
be held on Sunday, February 8, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., within the Hotel of
Tomorrow located in the Place Bonaventure de Montréal's exhibit areas.
    The guest of honour for this occasion, Philoména Rotiroti, parliamentary
assistant to the Quebec Minister of Tourism, will be accompanied by Alan
DeSousa, City of Montréal Executive Committee member responsible for economic
development; members of the HRSA Board of Directors; Victor Francoeur, the
Association's President & CEO; the Pilgrim Stick award recipients, whose names
will be announced at the previous evening's Gala Reconnaissance; the news
media; as well as numerous representatives of the wide range of trade show
exhibitors, and a large showing of on-site visitors.

    The HRSA, which marks its 74th anniversary this year, is a central player
in the hospitality industry, which is worth more than $72 billion in Canada
and represents approximately 45,000 suppliers - almost 10,000 of which are
located throughout Quebec.
