    OTTAWA, May 22 /CNW Telbec/ - On Tuesday May 26, 2009 the Federation of
Canadian Municipalities (FCM) will release a report that examines the federal
government's role in addressing the growing crisis in rural Canada and how
this crisis threatens to weaken Canada's national economy.
    FCM's rural leaders will be in Ottawa to meet with federal leaders to
recommend how the role of the federal government needs to change to address
rural needs, and to lead a national news conference/teleconference.
