/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - Clyde Avenue Bridge To Get Quick Fix/

    Media Invited To Open House And Photo Opportunity

    OTTAWA, July 4 /CNW/ - Technology that can lift bridges weighing as much
as a fully loaded Boeing 747 will be used in August to replace the Clyde
Avenue Bridge on Highway 417/Ottawa Queensway in 17 hours. The old bridge will
be lifted away and replaced with a pre-constructed bridge built off-site in a
nearby location. Learn more about the Clyde Avenue Bridge Rapid Replacement
    Ontario is hosting a one-day open house for media to visit the
construction site where the new bridges will be built in preparation for the
Clyde Avenue Bridge replacement scheduled to take place in August.

    Location:    City of Ottawa Snow Removal Site

    Directions:  Highway 417/Ottawa Queensway to Carling Avenue Exit to Clyde
                 Turn Left at Clyde Avenue and continue to the end
                 End at City of Ottawa Snow Removal Site.
