Speech title: For young people, the future is now.
Monday, June 4, 2007
Noon - 2 p.m.
Hyatt Regency Montreal
Hotel Grand Salon
1255 Jeanne-Mance, Montréal
After reviewing the four key challenges facing Quebec (the debt and tax
burden; demographics; productivity; and education), Mr. Ménard will present
the main findings of a CROP survey of young Quebecers between the ages of 18
The survey focused on attitudes toward work, values, expectations,
concerns about the aging of the population, the role of government and several
other topics related to the future of young people in Quebec.
He will then compare certain findings of the CROP survey with the answers
to similar questions in an Angus-Reid survey of young people across Canada.
Mr. Ménard will propose various courses of action to explore if we are to
bequeath to the younger generation an economy that allows them to realize
their dreams and ambitions.
Mr. Ménard will be available to meet with the Journalists after his
speech, the Salon Vadreuil has been reserved for this purpose.
We hope you will attend this fascinating luncheon.
