/R E P E A T -- Health Unit to announce hockey violence symposium/

    LONDON, ON, Jan. 22 /CNW/ - The Middlesex-London Health Unit will
announce details about its upcoming Violence in Hockey Symposium at a news
conference on Monday, January 26th, at the Western Fair Sportsplex in London.
    "Our ultimate goal is a ban on fighting and violence at all levels of
hockey," says Dr. Graham Pollett, the Health Unit's Medical Officer of Health.
"This symposium is a step toward that target."
    The one-day symposium is scheduled for late-February. Several notable
speakers will make presentations at the event.
    Representatives from the Health Unit, and several of those who will speak
at the symposium will be present at the news conference. Symposium
registration forms and a detailed schedule of the day will also be available.
