Complete closure of the expressway over night at Pierre-Dupuy Avenue
LONGUEUIL, QC, June 17, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and
Champlain Bridges Incorporated wishes to announce overnight roadwork on
the Bonaventure Expressway in the Pierre- Dupuy Avenue sector (Exit 2 of the Bonaventure Expressway), in order to continue the
repair work begun in May.
The work will necessitate complete closure of this section of the
Bonaventure Expressway from Sunday, June 19 at 9 PM to Monday, June 20 at 6 AM.
Please note that major roadwork will also take place on the Champlain Bridge the same weekend from Friday at 10 PM to Monday at 5 AM with only one lane open towards the South Shore and two lanes towards
Montreal. Motorists are asked to avoid the Champlain Bridge Corridor
during this period. The Jacques-Cartier and Victoria bridges represent better alternatives for motorists travelling to Montreal.
We invite you to consult our map (http://bit.ly/bplZzT), which presents the various closure scenarios and the detour road. In
this case, it is a Type C closure.
Details of the closure

Closure of the access ramp from Wellington St.
Complete closure of Pierre-Dupuy Avenue under the Bonaventure Expressway
