MONTREAL, Dec. 30 /CNW Telbec/ - Students from around the world will
gather in Montreal from January 5-10, 2009 to participate in Concordia
University's 28th John Molson MBA International Case Competition at the Hilton
Bonaventure Hotel (900 de la Gauchetière St. West, Montreal). This prestigious
annual event has been running since 1981 and is the oldest and largest Case
Competition of its kind in the world.
Formulating strategic recommendations on real-world business cases, 144
of the best and brightest MBA students from around the world will come
together during the 5-day event. In total 36 teams of four students, including
groups from Canada, US, France, Finland, Ireland, Sweden, Germany and
Singapore, will compete to find the best possible solutions to real problems
faced by various organizations. They will be judged by over 250 top executives

This year's theme, "United in a Changing World", reflects the need to
develop sustainable business practices, and the benefits of working together
to achieve this goal.

provides the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-life business
