Protests around the world mark grim four-year anniversary of Darfur conflict

    MONTREAL, April 27 /CNW Telbec/ - Protests will take place on Sunday
(29th April) in over 35 capitals around the world to mark the fourth
anniversary of the deadly conflict in Darfur. Eight Canadian cities will hold
events on or around the day: Montreal, Edmonton, Vancouver, Ottawa, Toronto,
Calgary, Winnipeg and Nanaimo.
    Canadian participants demand their government take a leadership role in
providing and rallying the necessary resources to protect civilians in Darfur.
