PowerComm Inc. adds new Board member

    EDMONTON, Nov. 16 /CNW/ - Mr. Wayne Rutherford, Chairman of the Board of
Directors of PowerComm Inc. (PCG:TSX), announced today the appointment of Mr.
Philip C. Lachambre as a Director of the corporation.
    Mr. Lachambre has held many senior positions in the oil and gas industry
during his thirty-five year career, most recently as Executive Vice President
and Chief Financial Officer of Syncrude Canada Ltd. prior to his retirement
earlier this year. Mr. Lachambre's areas of responsibility have included
controller, treasury and pension, human resources, legal, corporate
environment, health and safety, business development, government and public
affairs, investor/stakeholder relations, information services and aboriginal
    Mr. Lachambre holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of
Alberta and is a graduate of the Executive Management Program at the
University of Western Ontario.

    The appointment was approved at the Board Meeting on November 12, 2007,
and takes effect immediately. Mr. Lachambre's appointment as Director is
subject to regulatory approval.
