Porter Airlines introduces VIPorter frequent flyer program

Passengers earn points beginning June 9, 2008

MONTREAL, June 3 /CNW/ - Porter Airlines today announced its frequent
flyer program, VIPorter, as the latest benefit for its passengers. Starting
June 9, all registered Porter customers will begin earning VIPorter Points
each time they fly Porter. Points collected can be used to redeem
complimentary travel on Porter Airlines after as few as five one-way flights.
The VIPorter frequent flyer program is distinguished by its simplicity in
accumulating and redeeming points. There are no blackout periods and seats are
allocated for VIPorter redemption up to a total of 10 per cent system
capacity. Redeemed flights include complimentary seat selection and convenient
change options.
"VIPorter broadens Porter's premium offering and provides travellers with
realistic, attainable rewards," said Don Carty, chairman of Porter Airlines.
"Porter's approach to our frequent flyer program, much like our daily service
offering, will be a breath of fresh air in an industry bogged down in overly
complicated reward and redemption systems."
A simple earning and redemption structure makes it easy to benefit from
the VIPorter program. After earning 7500 VIPorter Points, passengers may
redeem their points for a complimentary one-way flight anywhere Porter
Airlines flies. Porter's three fare classes earn points at different levels,
with 10-pack Porter Passes and group bookings also eligible for points as

these fundamentals into VIPorter. Passengers will soon find out how
uncomplicated and truly rewarding a frequent flyer program can be."
