    TORONTO, Dec. 11 /CNW/ - Christmas looms ever closer and Canadians across
the country will be rushing around, trying to find the perfect gifts, wrapping
presents, decorating their trees and getting ready for the holidays. For over
100 Toronto students, the timeline is much shorter. This Tuesday, December 11,
2007 from 10 am - 11 am, 10 teams of Grade 4 - 6 students will gather in
Gerrard Square Shopping Centre for a thrilling and humorous race against each
other and the clock, to complete a holiday chore list in support of area
    With record setting speed, teams are challenged to choose gifts, wrap
them, trim a Christmas tree, decorate cookies and set a holiday table. The
fastest Holiday Scrambling team will be awarded $500 for their chosen charity,
with other teams' charities not missing out - they get $200, just for
participating! The charities that have been chosen by competing teams are:
Sick Kids Foundation, the Daily Bread Food Bank and the Toronto Humane
