celebrate Pet Health Insurance Month along with national RDOG DAY, supporting
the Canadian Kennel Club's (CKC) first annual Walkin' with RDOG's on Saturday,
September 27.
    In communities throughout Canada, Responsible Dog Ownership Groups
(RDOG's) and individual dog owners will take to the streets-with their dogs-in
a march of support for responsible dog owners and the benefits that they bring
to their communities.

a natural fit for Petsecure pet health insurance to support Walkin' with
RDOG's on September 27," says Randy Valpy, President and Chief Operating

    Petsecure pet health insurance has teamed up with others in the industry
to sponsor a nationwide contest and educate pet owners about the benefits of
pet health insurance for the third annual National Pet Health Insurance Month.
    "Responsible pet parents, such as RDOG group members, are to be commended
for their commitment to their pets," says Valpy. "Having a pet is a serious
commitment, and it includes having enough financial resources for the pet's

    5.  Time to give the pet proper attention and affection.

    6.  A "pet friendly" environment with harmful toxins beyond reach.

    7.  An outdoor space for a pet that needs one.

    8.  Compliance with municipal laws, such as leash and licensing laws.

    9.  Training and socializing the pet.

    10. Identification on the pet, such as microchips, collars and tattoos.

    Pet parents have until September 30 to enter the September is Pet Health
Insurance Month Contest for a chance to win the Grand Prize valued at over
