Performance Management: A significant business issue

New survey to address leading practices, challenges and opportunities

TORONTO, Sept. 16 /CNW/ - A new global research study is being launched
today to develop a deeper understanding of leading practices in performance
management and to establish whether there are links between the application of
these practices and the performance of organizations.
The study is sponsored jointly by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the
University of Ottawa - Telfer School of Management; Canadian Advanced
Technology Alliance (CATA); FHS St. Gallen University of Applied Sciences in
Switzerland; and the University of South Australia.
Participation is invited from both the private and public sectors,
including organizations of all sizes and in all industries.
Through the research, organizations will be able to contribute to and
benefit from the discovery and understanding of leading practices related to
the application of performance management approaches and tools. Participating
organizations will also have the ability to benchmark against their peers. The
final report is scheduled for completion in February 2009.
