MONTREAL, Oct. 1 /CNW Telbec/ - On 30 September 2008, Mrs. Monique
Létourneau was elected Chair of the Board of Directors of Oxfam-Québec and
CLUB 2/3, Oxfam-Québec's youth division.
Mrs. Létourneau succeeds Mrs. Nicole Saint-Martin, who is stepping down
after several years as chair of the board to pursue her work with Oxfam-Québec
in other capacities.
Mrs. Létourneau has been a member of the Oxfam-Québec board since 1999
and chair of the finance committee since 2004. She has more than 24 years of
experience in finance and business management. During her career, she has held
executive posts with Power Corporation of Canada and the Groupe SGF. She was
also a member of the financial services group at Samson Bélair Deloitte &
Touche. Since 2001, she has been serving as Executive Vice President, Finance
and Chief Financial Officer of Ambrilia Biopharma Inc
Mrs. Létourneau holds the ICD.D certification from the Institute of
Corporate Directors. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and has a
masters' degree in management (M.Sc finances) from HEC in Montréal. She is
also a member of the board of Oxfam-Québec Fair Trade Inc. (Equita).
