Orca Exploration announces suspension of the SS-10 well pending rig repairs

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, June 15 /CNW/ - Orca
Exploration Group Inc ("Orca Exploration") has suspended operations on the
SS-10 development well due to equipment problems with the rig that have
impeded drilling progress.
The well has been drilled to a measured depth of 1,689 meters and will
now be secured at a depth of 1,074 meters while rig repairs are carried out.
The drilling has shown the subsurface geology to be as expected.
The drilling of the well will resume as soon as the repairs are completed
and the other drilling contractors are remobilised. The delay has no impact on
Orca's ongoing operations in Tanzania and the expected production from the
SS-10 well is not required before mid 2008.
