TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON, Feb. 12 /CNW/ - Ontario Power Generation (OPG)
has made a $10,000 contribution to the Temiskaming International Plowing Match
and Rural Expo 2009 (IPM). OPG has also committed to contributing over $20,000
in materials to be distributed to guests and participants of the event,
pushing its total contribution to over $30,000.
The Temiskaming International Plowing Match and Rural Expo 2009 will take
place from September 22nd to September 26th 2009 in Earlton, Ontario. It is a
weeklong celebration of the region's rich agricultural history that promises
to attract more than 70,000 visitors.
"This event will have a very positive impact on Earlton, Temiskaming
Shores and neighbouring communities", stated Al Bernard, Front Line Manager,
Ontario Power Generation. "It's a privilege for us as a member of this
community to be a partner in such an important event."

International Plowing Match to be held in Northern Ontario", stated Darlene
