TORONTO, March 18 /CNW/ - Telemerge Canada, based in Toronto, Ontario,
has completed work on a world-class collaborative technology facility in
Toronto's financial district.
The new Ontario Investment and Trade Centre, operated by the Government
of Ontario, is designed to promote the province as a premiere business
destination for investments by international corporations and organizations.
Paul Doo, CEO of Telemerge Canada says, "This is easily the most
impressive facility I have seen, and is a feather in the cap of the government
for creating such a high technology environment to promote Ontario. The
virtual collaborative services in this new facility also recognize the
emphasis placed on reducing travel from an environmental aspect."
To support these efforts, Telemerge has provided HD (High Definition)
enabled Videoconferencing to four high-technology collaborative rooms in the
centre. The Telemerge service includes global videoconferencing, video
bridging and webcasting functions with its 7X24X365 state-of-the-art network
and managed operator services.
Incorporated in 1993, Telemerge provides Converged Wide-Area-Networks
with Integrated Video, Bridging, Audio, Web Conferencing and Web Casting
Services to Government and Corporate Organizations Globally. Telemerge
"VIRTUALLY EMPOWERS" clients to work in a collaborative environment. Telemerge
is a privately held company, with locations throughout Canada. For further
