Ontario Health Coalition - Media Advisory

    KINGSTON, ON, Nov. 26 /CNW/ -

What? Kingston Town Hall Meeting on the Threat of Service Cuts At Our
Local Hospitals: Will care be there when I need it?

Kingston hospitals are facing deficits and a budget crunch, as a result of
chronic under funding. If the provincial government does not resolve the
funding issues, there will be serious service cuts. The provincial government
is playing hardball with Ontario hospitals - forcing service cuts and
rationalization in a new round of hospital restructuring that is just
starting. The Kingston Health Coalition is the community to protect local
hospital services, based on demonstrable need, and to force the provincial
government to listen respectfully to the legitimate needs of the community.

When? Today, Monday, November 26, 2007, 7 to 9 pm
