Ontario Energy Board announces members of Low-Income Energy Assistance Program working groups

    TORONTO, June 5 /CNW/ - Today the Ontario Energy Board (the Board)
announced the members of two working groups that will complete the work
necessary to implement the Financial Assistance and Conservation components of
the Board's Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP).
    Fifteen participants were selected for each working group representing
low-income and other ratepayers, environmental interests, social service
providers, gas distributors, small and large electricity distributors and
various levels of government.
    The working group members can be found on the Board's website.

    The Ontario Energy Board regulates the province's electricity and natural
gas sectors in the public interest. It envisions a viable and efficient energy
sector with informed consumers and works toward this vision through regulation
