    Lighting Ceremony At Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai

    MUMBAI, INDIA, Jan. 15 /CNW/ - High atop the elegant new Four Seasons
Hotel in Mumbai, with a spectacular view of the city and the tranquil waters
of the Arabian Sea, Sandra Pupatello, Minister of Economic Development and
Trade along with Four Seasons executives took part in a ceremony to light the
rooftop sign of the hotel chain's first property on the Indian subcontinent.

synonymous around the world for its innovative ingenuity, luxury and high
standards," said Pupatello. "Isadore Sharp, the company's CEO, and a native
Ontarian, is a shining example of the entrepreneurial spirit inherent in the

global economy."
    Uday Rao, Hotel Manager, Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai said, "The lighting
ceremony is a symbol of the achievement of the strategic alliance between
international partners Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Magus Estates &
Hotels Pvt. Ltd."
    Pupatello is in India leading a business mission of 12 automotive parts
firms at the Delhi region's largest Auto Expo. She is also meeting with
influential business and government decision makers to discuss commercial
business opportunities for Ontario.

lucrative Indian market," said Pupatello.

    Founded in 1960, Four Seasons has followed a targeted course of
expansion, opening hotels in major city centres and desirable resort
destinations around the world. The hotel chain currently has 74 hotels in
31 countries, and more than 25 properties under development. The chain's new
Mumbai hotel is now confirming reservations for arrival from March 15, 2008.
