OnForce, the World's Largest Marketplace for IT Service Professionals, Expands Into Canada

Online marketplace now enables VARs and solution providers to find
contract IT service professionals across Canada.

BOSTON, Nov. 7 /CNW/ -- OnForce, the world's largest marketplace for IT
service professionals, today announced it has expanded into Canada at
www.onforce.ca. Service organizations that need on-site technicians in Canada
can now use the OnForce marketplace to find, manage and pay contract IT
professionals, when and where they need them.
The OnForce platform is used to successfully complete work in a wide
range of technology categories, from core IT services, such as computer repair
and network upgrades, to emerging categories such as consumer electronics,
VoIP and point-of-sale rollouts. OnForce matches the service requests of IT
buyers with those providers who are best suited to meet their needs, based on
each provider's skills, location and past performance. This enables buyers to
expand their geographic and skill set coverage without the expense of hiring,
training and retaining new employees.
"OnForce has become an industry standard in the U.S. With 10,000+ highly
qualified service providers and 500,000+ work orders completed, we enable
VARs, solution providers, and staffing firms to find the off-payroll IT
professionals they need," said OnForce CEO Peter Cannone. "We are excited to
bring the power of OnForce to Canada. Service buyers can now find, manage,
and pay IT service professionals in both the U.S. and Canada, on demand."
Service buyers and providers can sign up for a free account at
www.onforce.com or www.onforce.ca. OnForce is a fully on-demand solution with
no subscription fees, volume minimums or upfront costs to join.
Nearly 150 Canadian IT service professionals are already approved and
active to accept work orders within the OnForce marketplace, with another 500+
that have begun the registration and approval process. In addition, OnForce
has incorporated the Canadian taxation structure into its marketplace to make
it easier for buyers to pay providers accurately and quickly. The company
also has worked with Canadian banks to allow payment to be made directly to
providers' Canadian bank accounts.
