    September 15, 1907: Canadian movie star Fay Wray, best known for her role
    as Ann Darrow, the woman captured by King Kong and carried to the top of
    the Empire State Building is born.

    September 15, 1987: Team Canada beats the USSR 6-5 to win the Canada Cup
    two games to one.

    September 15, 2003: Dalton McGuinty makes another promise to the people
    of Ontario...

        "Ontario Liberals will take immediate action to tackle Ontario's
        doctor shortage." (Ontario Liberal press release)

    He said there were 122 communities with a shortage of family doctors. He
said Ontario was short 569 doctors. He said nearly one million Ontarians don't
have a family doctor. He said Waterloo region was short 32 family doctors
leaving 51,200 without a family doctor.

    Four years after Dalton McGuinty was elected

    -   142 communities with a shortage of family doctors.

    -   Ontario is short 2,000 doctors.

    -   There are 1 million adults and another 130,000 children without a
        family doctor.

    -   Waterloo Region's doctor shortage has grown to 35.

    Dalton McGuinty's promise to take immediate action to tackle Ontario's
doctor shortage...it's one more promise that he was quick to make but failed
to keep.
