Official Mega Gathering of All Aboriginal People of Canada is cancelled

    GATINEAU, QC, June 19 /CNW Telbec/ -

All Aboriginal People of Canada had been convened in front of
the offices of Indian and Northern Affairs Canada located in
                               Gatineau (Hull)
to participate in the First Aboriginal MEGA GATHERING
regarding a public consultation on Aboriginal Affairs and Issues.

"The Mega Gathering is hereby CANCELLED because of Governments
threats to arrest the National Grand Chief Guillaume Carle of the
Confederation of Aboriginal People of Canada",
                       commented Grand Chief Frigon.

The Confederation of Aboriginal People of Canada wishes to inform the
readers that this Mega Gathering was not a demonstration, like the
federal and provincial governments have falsely lead the people to
believe, this was a public consultation to gather information to better
the life of Aboriginal People in this country.

We are asking the media and the grand public to help us communicate this
                             message to every one

Freedom of peaceful gathering is a fundamental right guaranteed by the
                            Canadian Constitution

Additional news to come in the next few weeks!

"May the Creator guide us on the right path to success for all people to
    enjoy life at its fullest"
"To all my relations." "Guillaume Carle, National Grand Chief ".
