Nuvolt Corporation Inc. announces a technological collaboration agreement with BBA

    LEVIS, QC, Nov. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - Nuvolt Corporation Inc (TSX-V: NCO)
announces the signature of a technological collaboration agreement with BBA,
an important private engineering consultant company offering a service in
industrial computer engineering.
The first phase of this technological collaboration, requires a
disbursement, by Nuvolt Corporation Inc, in the amount of $320,000.00, and
deals with the development of a monitoring system for electrical networks for
the livestock farms market. This mandate should be completed by spring 2008.
Afterward, the technology developed around this application of the Nuvolt
Sensor will be adapted to other areas and should be the basis for monitoring
systems designed, before the end of 2008, for the commercial real estate and
for industrial production lines markets.
In agriculture, monitoring allows producers to better manage their
electrical network so as to reduce time waste due to electrical failures, to
perform preventative maintenance, improve the performance of the herds, and
reduce the fire hazards as well as energy consumption.
"The monitoring of electrical networks offers a very important sales
potential, on a worldwide scale," explains Jacques Dion, CEO of Nuvolt
Corporation Inc. "Several multinational farm equipment manufacturers, with
whom we have close connections, are already interested in the distribution of
monitoring systems for electrical networks. The same goes for national and
international insurers, for whom the promotion of these systems represents a
means of reducing their risks."
"The agreement with BBA comes under the forecasts for development within
our business plan, and will thus allow us to quickly meet the needs," says
Mr Dion. "The integration of the Nuvolt Sensor to the monitoring system for
electrical networks of the agricultural sector is a first stage which should
bring the expertise and technologies of Nuvolt Corporation Inc into the
highest ranks of the international scene."
"In parallel with the undertakings of its technology development, Nuvolt
Corporation's business plan includes the signature of worldwide distribution
agreements with some major partners," says Mr Dion. "The technology
collaboration agreement disclosed today gives further assurance to the
potential partners as to the company's ability to produce deliverables on
time. Concrete results of this agreement will not only be of a technological
nature; it should also improve Nuvolt Corporation's capacity to market its
product lines worldwide."
